If you haven’t heard already, I wanted to share some big news: I’m running for office. This isn’t a plunge I took lightly. But after talking it over with Mariah and the kids, I knew it was the right decision. There is too much at stake when it comes to our local economy, our schools, and our natural spaces. And you know that I never shy away from a fight. That is why I jumped in and have been working nonstop. I have been overwhelmed by the response from the community. Teachers, nurses, the OLCV, and even Labor Commissioner Brad Avakian have pledged their support. With just 32 days until the election, time is short and I need your help. Facebook has become part of the next generation of campaign tools. Not only can we connect with voters, we are able to show your friends I am endorsed by someone they trust: you. Please take a moment and “like” my Facebook page right now. It will help you stay up to date on the campaign and will be a big help to me. There are also a number of volunteer opportunities coming up, please email Miles at [email protected] to get involved. Thanks for any support you can offer in the coming month. It will be a busy time, but I also know we’ll look back and see that it was worth it. Ken P.S. Don’t forget to go Like me on Facebook today, every day until the election counts!
